This Privacy Policy explains how FixIt Pro (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the FixIt Pro mobile application (the “App”).

Information We Collect
- Account & Contact Information: name, phone number, and a password (stored as a secure hash on our servers).
- Repair Request Details: service category selected, description you provide, date/time chosen, and booking status updates.
- User Content: photos and videos you attach to your repair request (uploaded to our servers so Pros can review the issue).
- Voice Notes (Optional): if you use voice dictation, audio may be processed to produce text. We use this only to generate the text you see.
- Device & Identifiers: push notification token (APNs) and app identifiers (e.g., bundle id) used to deliver notifications and keep your session working.
- Payment Verification (If Used): if you enter transfer verification details, we may collect the sender name and transaction reference you provide.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate logins.
- To create bookings, reserve time slots, and show your repair history.
- To upload and display your attached media for service fulfillment.
- To send notifications about booking updates (e.g., verified, dispatched, completed).
- To provide customer support and respond to requests.
- To prevent abuse, secure the App, and troubleshoot errors.
How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the service:
- Service fulfillment: your booking details and attached media may be shared with the technician/Pro assigned to your job.
- Service providers: we use infrastructure providers to host servers and store uploaded media.
- Push notifications: Apple Push Notification service (APNs) is used to deliver notifications.
- Voice transcription (Optional): if you use dictation, audio may be sent to a transcription service endpoint you configure or we provide.
- Legal: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
Data Retention
We retain your account and booking data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion by contacting us at Fixitpro.lb@gmail.com.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own depending on where our servers and providers operate.
Your Choices
- You can disable push notifications in iOS settings.
- You can choose not to upload photos/videos (optional for booking).
- You can choose not to use voice dictation (optional).
- You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” at the top when changes are made.
